Rag Doll Kung Fu demo released

December 24th, 2005 :: New products, Site news :: 10 Responses

Despite having had no official announcement, a demo for Rag Doll Kung Fu is now available through Steam. It features the first two single-player training areas and a time-limited multiplayer mode. Install it here.

I’ve also noticed that the site has become more and more (that is to say totally) news-based lately. Fear not: more features are on the way!

I personally like the news-based format the site is going with now. But more stuff would be great too! Keep it up Tom.

Yeah keep up the good work!

    keep up guys!

  4. Garry Says:

Hey Hey, your design nearly works in IE now!

I’ve been fiddling around with WP’s parsing settings, trying to remove the excess line breaks everywhere without setting negative margins and breaking IE. The current setup is a br at the end of each line, which would be great if it didn’t also make lines between HTML elements.

I think the current problems are down to IE6’s shoddy CSS support rather than anything I’m doing…IE7 should be a lot better.

Seems to be doing a little better with negative padding on the post title instead of entry div…

Edit: I’ve just added a print stylesheet, if that matters to anyone. You won’t get the sidebar, images and their captions will be positioned a little better, and there’s a few stylistic things from the main theme brought over to make it a little less generic. There are occasional gaps to the left and right of formatted text in Firefox though, which I think might be a browser bug as it’s fine in IE.

Everything works fine except that for some reason when it first loads the first 2 posts are completely hidden.

I have to select them to make it redraw.

I don’t know what would cause that.

  8. Tom Edwards Says:

    Rendering bugs, of course. πŸ˜‰

Do you get indentation problems in the sidebar too? It’s all over the place for me.

  9. Garry Says:

Yeah – it looks like the first one is indented twice.
